Shortest Koppen’s Climatic Classification for Exam

Koppen’s Climatic Classification links climate to natural vegetation using temperature and rainfall. It has five major groups A – Tropical, B – Dry, C – Temperate, D – Continental, E – Polar.
Important subtypes include Af (Tropical Rainforest), Aw (Tropical Savanna), BWh (Hot Desert), Cfa (Humid Subtropical), and ET (Tundra).
India mainly has: Am in Western Coast, Aw in Peninsular India, Cwa/Cfa in North India, and BWh/BSh in Rajasthan.
