Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav 2025
The Ministry of Education celebrated the birth anniversary of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati by hosting Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav 2025 in New Delhi under the theme “Many Languages, One Emotion”. The Ministry of Tribal Affairs showcased dictionaries, primers and research works from Tribal Research Institutes of Jharkhand, Odisha and Gujarat.
A major highlight was Adi Vaani, India’s first AI-powered tribal language translator, covering Santali, Kui, Bhili, Mundari, Gondi and Garo. Students performed cultural programmes, including a 22-language rendition of “Vande Mataram,” celebrating India’s linguistic diversity.
