Arunachal Pradesh Rises in Parakh Survey
Arunachal Pradesh climbed to the 17th rank in the Parakh Rashtriya Sarvekshan 2024 , marking a major improvement from earlier low-performing positions. It ranked 12th in Grade 9, 14th in Grade 6, and 24th in Grade 3, showing broad gains across schooling stages.
Language learning stood out, with Grade 6 and Grade 9 scores surpassing the national average and the state’s own past levels, reflecting stronger comprehension and writing skills.
Targeted reforms—teacher training, curriculum upgrades, assessment improvements and school infrastructure strengthening—are credited for the progress.
The state also moved out of the bottom ten nationally, aided by improved classroom practices, monitoring, and community participation.
